This review is more about the food and service than the drinks. The premade frozen drinks are what they are. They are the draw to this establishment. Once drawn in, I recommend the food. Breakfast at Wet Willie's (yup, I said breakfast) is really good, especially the grits. There is no line and the prices are reasonable, unlike many other Tybee breakfast spots. The bar menu is also quite tasty. The service is always quick and pleasant. Go ahead and quench your thirst and beat the heat with the drinks, but don't miss the food.

The husband and I needed a place to stop and stay dry when a sudden downpour rolled through Tybee. I'm glad he talked to me into Wet Willie's. It was my first time at a daiquiri bar, and I can't say I left disappointed. Customer service was on point without being annoying. I'm indecisive, so the bartender took it upon himself to mix up some great flavor combos for me to sample. I ended up going with the Chocolate Thunder (tasted exactly like a drinkable fudgecicle). I thought that would be it for me, but it was still raining so I figured "What the heck?" and had the bartender mix up a Pina Colada-Mango-Strawberry concoction while my hubby sipped on a Jack and Ginger (after he finished his White Russian). When the bartender noticed the rain had stopped, he brought our check without us having to ask and a couple of plastics bags to put on our bike seats to save our asses from getting soaked. We didn't try any of the food, but the frozen daiquiris were delightful!

I love Wet Willie's and NO I do not have a vagina. I am 100% man and I confess I love flavored alcohol frozen drinks from Wet Willie's. I still have my man card and no I will not give it up. For the men who refuse to get in touch with their "other" side, Wet Willie's also sells beer. The food is basically bar type food (burgers, etc.) and is surprising decent. Regarding this specific Tybee Beach Wet Willie's - If you sit at a table, versus the bar, wait service can be a little inconsistent - Place is about a block off the beach. Great location. - They do take plastic

Need to wet your whistle on a hot, sunny day? Wet Willie's got ya covered! Grab a chair at the Penguin Lounge bar and gaze in colorful wonder at their 16 machines all ready to dispense a ready-made frozen daiquiri of your choosing: Chocolate Thunder, Sex on the Beach, Pina Colada, Margarita, Sour Apple, Strawberry, Kiwi, Grape, Mango? Or maybe you want something a little stronger like an Attitude Adjustment, Shock Treatment or the all-powerful Call a Cab. Heck, you can even mix various combinations together to your straw sipping pleasure. Just figure out and order your favorite frozen concoction first (you can sample as many as you want prior to ordering) because you probably won't remember much if you hang around for multiple rounds. Thank God you can walk straight here from the beach and eventually stumble your way back.

The secret is out. Dammit. Wet Willie's used to be an awesome spot for breakfast. You could walk right in with a couple dollars and get a hot & delicious breakfast sandwich so fast you'd think they had house elves working in the back. Those were the days. Sigh. Now there's a display on the sidewalk announcing that they serve breakfast. You're lucky to grab a table, and then you're even luckier if someone visits your table. We had to wait a really long time just for our coffee. We were told the manager was getting more styrofoam cups for hot drinks; sure enough, we saw a man walk through a few minutes later with a bag of cups. Ten or fifteen minutes later, the coffee showed up. Our sandwiches were brought out quite awhile after that, but our home fries weren't. We asked about them & they finally arrived, but we realized we didn't have any forks. When I got up and asked for forks, the manager (I'm assuming, since it was the same guy that had brought in the cups) kind of barked at me, "How many?" And then he turned and went to the back room without another word and he didn't say anything to me when he handed me the forks. Really, dude? You could at least smile? I need copious amounts of coffee in the morning, and even though I had to wait forever for you to bring me a cup, I smiled and thanked you when you did. So the sandwiches are still yummy and cheap, but I don't think it's worth the wait. At night, the drinks aren't bad (but they have a Jack & Ginger drink -- and say it's made with Jack Daniel's bourbon. Um, no. Jack Daniel's is Tennessee whiskey. You won't find "bourbon" anywhere on the bottle). And they'll give you a bowl of water for your dog, which is appreciated.

Great customer service. Wet willies has so many flavors and are able to mix flavored for you too. A large is $8 so it's not pricy at all (I'm from Philadelphia so I'm used to high alcohol prices.) You could definitely get a good buzz going after a large or two of these.

The group I was with seemed to enjoy their drinks. My underage daughter enjoyed the "weak willie". The sugar free options need a little work....call a cab is too strong and the other needed more flavor. Ordered some nachos and the taco meat was burnt.

A great spot right when you get off the beach. So many smoothie options including draft beers. Small place for drinks only. I would not recommend making that your bar stop for the night but a great place to stop off for a quick drink after or before hitting the beach. We grabbed a few drinks and enjoyed the patio with our 2 year old beagle. Awesome great service. They not only came out to check on us but made sure our furry friend was well hydrated with his bowl of water. Would go back!

Love this place but the guy working today acted like he didn't want to be there. Surely no who I would want representing my brand. Great drinks but poor customer service.

I love that you can try a lot of drinks before purchasing and the staff is really helpful in making an amazing drink based on what you like

I didn't care for the menu or the crazy sweet bar slushy drinks. But, in all fairness, I was exhausted. Hubby like it though. He gives it 3 stars.

I'm actually liking the Wet Willie's triple threat and the service here. Friendly staff and strong drinks. We bought a large triple threat and a large naked russian for a little over $20. The drinks obviously fast a little more watered down as they melt but it helped with the humidity. I would recommend stopping here for a quick drink to walk with.

The drinks where actually good and alcoholic! The staff was a little rude but I would definitely come back again.

Great during the summer after a long day! Well priced, strong drinks, and the best part is you can take it out and about with you! It's a must if you come to Savannah/Tybee!

We came in an hour before closing on Friday evening. Service was decent. Fries and chicken wrap were delicious. Had the piña colada , it was very sweet as expected for a chain with pre made frozen drinks. Overall i'd recommend. Ranch dressing is out of this world.
